I have started this thread and then hesitated several times. I don't know exactly what is going on with me, but I feel like I am under spiritual attack. The last several nights I have slept poorly, and awakened with these horrible dark thoughts, and feeling very alone and scared. My mind just goes to these deep dark places that I don't like. And l had a dream about my ES. I don't remember exactly what it was about, just that he was in it. And yesterday I was googling something about what verses to read in the Bible when you are scared, and somehow I got into this really weird website called Ex Christian. And I started reading. Well basically it is a website made up of ex Christians and talking about how to ex-convert and I started reading their stories and then I MYSELF started feeling doubts and feelings of dread. Well I immediately recognized what was happening and I got off that website and I started just praying for the blood of Jesus to cover me and protect me. But then last night I had another night where I awakened in the middle of the night just feeling this suffocating feeling and scared to death. I just ask that you please pray for me right now. I don't like this feeling. Usually I am upbeat and strong and maybe that is why Satan is trying to get at me. I don't know.

I can't understand how anyone who says they are a Christian could possibly celebrate Halloween. How can they be so ignorant as to what goes in that night. Same goes for people and churches that attend yoga!!! I just dint get it! My friend told me she has started a class. She is involved with her church and has no idea about the spiritual side of such things as Reiki if that's how you spell it. Don't they educate themselves with what is Christian and what is not. I feel I would not be very popular if I was to say to everyone I meet how I feel. With regards my son and his girlfriend... They are miles out from where they should be.... So how can we expect to agree! It makes you feel quite alone in this world..so few you can really share your faith wih. Do any of you feel the same?

This estrangement is the most difficult experience. It make us feel like failures. It make us doubt our faith and yes it is spiritual warfare.

Anti Christian sites point out all the challenges with Christianity. There is no comfort there only deception.

May the Holy Spirit enter your heart and provide the courage to move part these dark thoughts. If you are on this web site there is a major hurt in your life over loosing a child. Turn it over to God and do the best you can with those who are in your life.

Oh no! I had no idea yoga was rooted in evil. I mean, I don't attend yoga, but I do take PiYo classes (pilates-yoga). Really there isn't much yoga in it, so is that the same? We don't chant or anything like that. It is set to music and we do things like squats and lunges, and tons of pushups. REally the only yoga part would be some of the poses, but there is no meditations or anything like that! And I am doing it to improve my balance and flexibility. And since I am on the small side, I am at risk of osteoporosis so I thought this would be good for me? Now I am second guessing that as well. I will research this Reiki but I am sure I have never heard anyone mention anything like that in my class. Maybe this isn't' the same thing. I hope not!

Christian families and churches have different thoughts about Yoga,Halloween, and other activities. As long as our motives are pure and it is not black/white in the Word then we seek the Lord and to only please and obey Him not men.

Hello, I don't think many people realise the spiritual side of these yoga and reiki practices. I am no expert but I would not join a class myself. Surprised that church allow it too. Not sure about the other exercises that have been mentioned.
