I found out Norske's husband passed away. In her grief she couldn't remember how to start a new topic. She said I could post something and she would add later. Here's her message:
"Today's the funeral, so I'm a bit heavy hearted. (husband) was diagnosed 6 mo. ago with a rare kidney cancer that moved throughout his body and took him Nov. 9th. The day of his death his family surronded him with love, stories and holding his hands. I cry a lot because I don't know how to move forward - alone."
She said the whole family was there that day including ES, his wife and the granddaughter.

Does anyone know if there is a grief support group on this Christian site for women who have lost their spouses?

The only online group I found was griefshare.org. They send out daily emails. We have a wonderful group in our church for grief sharing. I hope your church does, also,or a church in your area.
I read many, many books of loosing a spouse to death and they were very helpful. The one that was most helpful and comforting and said exactly what I was thinking and feeling is "When God and Grief Meet" by Lynn Eib. I highly recommend it. I read it during the first year and then re-read it just a few months ago and I refer to it everyday.
