I am so sorry to hear all of the edr...I am praying as I write...hold on.

thank you lost, I feel as though we all need to praise the Lord in all circumstances- good and bad. Many times I get bogged down with hurt and anger that I forget to praise , pray and worship. I am guilty and sinful in this. Thank you for the reminder of scripture. edr, you are never alone in Christ and I hope things improve for your family. We all know how painful it is to be forced by our own EC not to be able to help and comfort them. I know exactly how you feel.

I will have u in my prayers. Though my son has a relationship with me I do not trust him bc of the tngs that have been said and done. I wish we all did not need this place but am so grateful for all those who r here. We need to hold on to Gods word and each other.

thank you for your prayers we sure need all wecan get.And i to do have a fragile relationship with son right now we stilllove him and i know everyone else here does to[love there children].There comes a time when you dont trust bcof the hurt,betrayel they put on you.Now i am starting to look at dil real close,she says things that my dh says she is playing with my mind.So i shut my cell off and use dh and act like its him texting if i need to know something from her,she doesnt try her mess with him.ts awful i am this old and have to play games.lol

A very wise friend of mine once saw me full of fear and dispair and she gave me this verse 2 Tim 2:7 For God has not given you a spirit of fear but of power and a sound mind. At first I did not understand this verse in the context it was meant, but then God revealed this to me: the spirit of fear is from the devil and we are told to resist the devil and to bring every thought captive under Christ.

The devil is attacking you Edr! RESIST and tell him he has no authority over you because you are no longer his but God's own! Heavenly Father I pray that you cover Edr's mind with the blood of Jesus this day and fill her with your peace that passes all understanding about her son's situation! In Jesus Name, AMEN!

Thanks to all of you wonderful people i just love each and everyone of you,I feel i know all of you for years you are the best.

edr1961, Im sorry about your son. Does he happen to have thyroid problems? I have Hashimotos thyroiditis I had a large growth on my thyroid & had it removed in May. Those kinds of growths are benign 95% of the time. Pray for him & I will light a candle for him at church this week.

no thyroid problems it was a growth in his throat they saw it from exam from family Dr.He had to go to ent specialist last monday and he numbed his throat and pulled it out my son passed out and they sent it off sothey said results should be back tomarrow [1 wk] they said have not heard anything yet and getting anxious im afraid but i keep praying,crying and with allsupport i have got from my good friends on this site has been ablessing will keep posted.Andi had my thyroid took out in april they found a nodgle andthat was a major scare for me to.My son wont talk to us rightnow he only text i think this is his way of dealing with it until he finds out
