CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
Gordos, my dear friend. I am so sorry. Hospice will spare your father of his pain. The nurses are wonderful. It takes away a little of your burden but allows you to still be with him if you choose. I went through it 4+ years ago when my sister in law had a brain tumor. I will go through it again sooner than I would like with my mother. I will tell you one thing. My sister in law was only 50 years old and it is terrible to see someone so young lose her life. Not that it will be easier as your father is not so young. It will still hurt terribly. Understand if you can that he has lead a long life and this is only helping him end it with dignity and no pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Much love, Nana
Blessings.
