CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
It makes me want to get out there too. I have been secluded for too long, and to look for work, it's not just for the financial gain..but I'm also needing the presence of other people in my life. I spend far too many hours alone with my little white dog..that's just not healthy.
Hope you found some place to put your skills to good use dear friend. Thanks for sharing with us. Hope this finds you "singing" at a new job!
I am wondering what I will say if I asked about my family. They often times send out a bio on you to the team. There is another grandchild on the way, which may lead to questions like, will I take time to be there for the birth, etc. So should I say anything about that? not sure. Hard stuff, but I will deal with that I guess, when and if.
Don't beat yourself up sadmad for spending time by yourself, I know when I am wounded, I want to go somewhere by myself and try to heal, and I did that for awhile, but knowing there are others like me has helped me tremendously to not feel alone and understand it's NOT just me! There are many walking wounded for so many things, I look at people differently, everyone has a story!
So back to the job...I will hear sometime next week! Thank you for the interest and support!
I would not feel obligated to share any personal info unless you feel led. You will know.
