Is it possible to walk on water? All day I have been thinking about this, and the answer would have to be YES! Jesus walked on water, but so did Peter. So we have two examples that would confirm the possibilities. Science and "natural law" would say this is simply not possible. I started to think about all the times I have been told the same thing. "Come back to reality Irish, you simply cannot live this way." some would say. It seems as though even in the Christian faith, I was told more about what was impossible or unattainable than encouraged to follow my heart and believe! From the very beginnings of this walk, all I ever wanted was to be close to Jesus. Looking back, I see how close I was  even though I was ignorant of most of the scriptures. God was simply my friend, and moved in many wonderful ways. When I started reading my bible I saw that the prevailing message was God wanted to establish a relationship with me. I read about all the wonderful things Jesus and his disciples did as well. I was so excited about the new possibilities of life and this walk with Jesus. As I am writing this, I feel a little angry. All the different voices that I allowed to creep in and convince me of what they said was impossible. As the day was winding down, I decided to watch a movie. I chose to watch "The Gridiron Gang" with Dwayne Johnson. Early in the movie there is a line that was said that caused me to stop the movie, write it down and ponder on it for a moment. It is as follows "Let's try the impossible, cause the possible just aint workin!"
