I called the car repair shop today. At first, the receptionist lady told me they could arrange for our car to be towed to another shop at our expense. I asked whether they might be able to look at the car this coming week. The lady told me she would ask the owner who is also a mechanic there and would get back to me. When I called back, she said they would look at the car this afternoon. They could take many more days after finding out what is wrong with the car to repair it. I hope they will really look at the car today as they said. They have had our car for sixteen days.

So glad you are able to get groceries delivered while you don't have your car, even if you have to pay a fee. I hope they were able to look at your car and the problem won't be too expensive to fix- sixteen days is a long time, they must be really overwhelmed with business.

I hope they can get to it this week if they have not yet last Friday. I found out there is a bus that goes very close to Walgreen. The only worrisome thing is I will have to walk to cross to the other side at the intersection. People in our town got hit by cars crossing the streets. And I found out Walgreen could deliver my medications for no charge so I asked them to deliver two of them at different times. I called AAA. They said they will pay for the towing if I need to have the car towed to a different shop. So thank God for all these. If the shop won't get to look at the car this week, they should arrange a different shop for us to move the car to. I thought that was what the receptionist lady said. There is one shop near our house that charges more for repairs in general. I don't know any other shops. I lost touch with them all. Thanks for your prayers. I hope you are doing well.
