How have you been doing? I am sorry I didn't send PM to ask. I thought members had nothing to say and faded away. Did you travel with your dad and the person in the house?

My daughter has a boyfriend who she met online and lives in another state thirty-three hours drive away. She is taking a class at the community college in town to get the two-year degree which was something that was interrupted four years ago. I drive her to her class. My and her health issues are a big challenge but we are fighting it. Thank you for your prayers for my daughter. The boyfriend came to meet with my daughter on July 10 and they have been communicating daily since then. He is completely in love with her. Please keep my daughter in your prayers. She turned 38 this month. I was hoping maybe God would give her a husband and am shocked this person showed up. They met at a gaming site where my daughter did her voice demo for video games. He was fascinated with her voice and her profile photos which was how it started. They met about a year ago online, and he got to the point where he felt he had to see her in person since she refused to get on the webcam. It seems more people meet online these days.

Hi Lavender. Glad to see you are still here. We are leaving soon for a quick trip to the other side of the state. One of my other family members is going too. It will be a six hour drive, but there is more than one driver and we can take breaks (but after today I probably won't be on here for a few days to a week).

It's great for your daughter that she has a boyfriend. I hope God will bless them both And, good for her for going back to finish her degree maybe that's a place she can make a friend or two as well.

I am doing ok, I am overwhelmed with too many things to do and I feel like I'm ignoring my and my son's needs in deference to my father's needs, and barely able to keep up with those., but I will work on it when we get back.

How is your path making project going? I will be praying for your energy.

I'm glad you are able to keep posting. I hope some others will drop in from time to time, but lot's of people only come on here when they are in distress, so when people are gone I just hope it means they're doing well.

Even if I'm gone for a week or more I'll be remembering to pray for you and your family.

My path-clearing has been stalled because of my loss of energy. I hope I can get on with it soon. Thanks for your prayers. I will keep you and your son and your father and the other person in the house in prayers. Thank you also for your prayers for my daughter. I was very surprised someone came along for her. I am not sure if he is sent from God or not (whether he is God's choice for her). He is not Christian but my daughter is not either. I hope he is the one in God's will and plan for her. He is a good caring person. He and my daughter agreed to date seven weeks ago after meeting in person. They are compatible in many ways and are each other's first date!

Thanks for your prayers. Our 3-day trip was delayed a day, then took five days, but God was with us. We finally got back on Monday, but I'm still getting caught up,organized, etc. And, the main person who wanted the trip wants to go back again in a few weeks. Sigh. I don't know, we'll see what happens, one of the people won't be going, so it'll be worse in some ways, but logistically simpler.

My daughter's situation with her long-distance relationship boyfriend is a difficult one. I don't know whether they can win. Maybe the odds of winning are 50/50 or worse, and it saddens me. Please pray for them.
