A scammer who pretended to be from the Publishers Clearing House called us on the phone today. He told us we won 10.5 million dollars and asked a lot of questions and said he would send papers for us to fill out through our e-mail. Since I got scammed many times, I kind of knew after finished talking to this man with a foreign accent that it was a scam, and I googled and saw Publishers Clearing House does not call to notify winners over the phone that they won. The scammer told us not to tell anyone about this (winning) for security reason. So if you get a call saying you are a winner of Publishers Clearing House, please be careful. This evil man used "God" in his scamming saying he is a Baptist Christian. He asked how much money we have before we will receive the 10.5 million dollars. I told him zero. He kept asking three more times, so I told him the most is $100. I feel he probably won't pursue us. The phone number he used is 516-725-5326, and he said his name is Michael Collins.

According to His riches in glory refers to a biblical promise found in Philippians 4:19, which states that God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. This verse emphasizes God's provision and generosity towards believers.

This sounds like one of those "lottery" scams where they tell you you've won some kind of lottery or raffle. Then they try to get you to send them money either "to release your winnings" or "to pay the taxes on the amont so we can send it".
Some signs that it's a scam are:
1. Do you they say you have to send on money to get money? This is a scam.
2. Are they calling from something you didn't enter? Or, don't remember entering ? Sorry, it's a scam.
3, Are they calling you on the phone about winning something? Almost always a scam.

Sorry scammers called you. It's hard when they say they're from publisher's clearing house because a lot of people enter that "contest", but phone callers should never need to know how much money you have. Sorry
I hope the rest of your week is better.
I have been thinking unfortunately there was a stupid situation that happened with one of my husband's credit card (American Express) that got blocked before he could use it, and the bank (American Express) put it in a fraud case and told him to send proofs of identification such as a utility bill that shows the dress. I was desperate to get this card unblocked, and most of the utility bills are in my name so I ended up doing stupid thing by sending them something that I think caused them to think we must have a lot of money which we don't. I told him we have a lot of "debts." He said, "We can help you pay them." I hope he never calls again to pursue knowing it was their misunderstanding about us having money in the bank. What pissed me off and saddened me was he mentioned God in his lying and trying to rob us. He left message on the answering machine when he first called telling me I won the money.
