I had a virtual hearing today. The judge reduced the fine from $120 to $75 and gives me time till February 12 to pay it. I think he said I can ask to make installments. I was hoping the whole fine of $120 could be waived but also aware that it might not be waived or reduced at all. For those who don't know what the fine is for, it is for the rotten garage roof. I am glad the hearing already passed. Preparing for what to say in the hearing was time-consuming and stressful. Now it is time to move on to other things that need to get done. Thank you for praying for me about this.
In this garage roof problem situation, God came through for us again by helping us with home repairs and helping us not to lose our house. The demolition of the garage costs $3,995 which includes replacing part of a wooden fence that will be missing during the demolition and includes hauling away some tree branches and junk in the backyard. We are still waiting for the contractor to come to do the work which can be about two weeks.
Again, I have not seen my orange feral cat pal for more than a week and feel he could be dead. I am thinking about possibly making another small shelter for him after the garage in the backyard is torn down. The problem is he may be dead. It appears that all the outdoors cats that belong to the strange outdoor cat-breeder guy next door are dropping dead one by one . I have not seen any of them the past few days but the weather has been very cold. They might just cuddle together somewhere on his property. He treats them like wild feral cats, making them hunt for food and expecting them to live through the winter in a snowy area. I am coming close to reporting him to the Humane Society for letting them multiply outdoors in his yard and does not give them enough food. One of the three-month-old kittens just died from a bad cold a few days after New Year Day. I tried to save her but she was too ill and died in an animal rescue place where I took her to. None of these cats should be forced to live outdoors. He had the option of sending pregnant cats that wander into his yard to animal rescue. There are places that will take pregnant cats and help the kittens find homes after they are born. The way he does it, the cats become unadoptable and die at very young ages. I began to think this is a "cultural" thing. Please pray for these cats and for me that God will show me what I should do, whether to try to feed these cats when they come to my yard. It is impossible for me to help feed ten outdoor cats because I have four cats inside the house that need food. I wonder what the guy will say if I tell him to give more food to his cats or send them to shelters. He does refer to them as his cats because he intentionally lets them give birth to kittens outdoor in his yard and keeps them outdoors 24/7. Some of them stay under sheds and a dock I think he will be very mad at me if I trap the pregnant cat without asking him for permission and smuggle her to animal rescue. I am afraid he and I will have a war (on cats). It stresses me out and depresses me to watch these poor cats suffer in the cold weather. The snow usually goes on till the end of April. I hope the guy does not let the kittens be born outdoors but you never know and I suspect that is what he is doing because that cat has been running around and came to our yard and went inside the cat house to sleep.
I hope you all have a good day today and a good week.

According to His riches in glory refers to a biblical promise found in Philippians 4:19, which states that God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. This verse emphasizes God's provision and generosity towards believers.

Can the people from animal rescue or the humane society wander by and talk to your neighbor?
I hope you're having a good week as well.
It looks like I will just have to let it be. I bought the cage for the little kitten that died two days after I brought her inside the house. It is not easy to catch these cats because they are like ferals from living outside with very little or no interactions with humans. The kitten was a calico that I believe was my orange feral pal's daughter since her face has the same shape as his. I am thankful that I have come to more acceptance of the orange cat dying. I felt so guilty not being able to help him and missed him a lot when he was gone. I still miss him but having the two photos of him helps a lot. I sent them to have them printed out not long ago. He is a gentle and meek cat but would not let humans get near him. I don't feel emotionally attached to the other cats that belong to the neighbor because I hardly saw them until recently.
I feel that unless this man sends this pregnant cat to animal rescue, the kittens will not survive. I doubt that he plans to put them in a place with heat in it. The cat stopped coming after I stopped giving her food (I want her to eat at the guy's place). No cats should have to walk a long distance to their food during the winter time because they can get sick from the cold weather. The cat house is not the best place for these cats to stay inside for a long time. They need to cuddle together to survive. She used to come to our yard with two little kittens but later came with the cat that I believe is the one that made her pregnant. Please pray for me about what I should do. Those small kittens (that already exist) will need this cat to guide them. If she gets sent away, the man will be very upset. So I am pretty stuck, not knowing what I should do. Letting the man do it his way is probably the best option right now but if I hear of that cat's kittens dying, I will feel very bad. I have learned that there is not much a person can do for feral cats. The people in the TNR group try to help provide outdoor shelters for them and give them food. I don't think they breed them. They get them fixed and throw them back to what they call "the neighborhood" which I call "the streets." I think finding indoor homes for any cats is the best way to help cats but they can't do it with feral cats. Some of them go to barns. In the past, they put them to sleep. Ideally, in my opinion the guy should send all his cats to shelters since he seems to not be able to feed them well. He seems to have different opinion about what is good for stray cats. I don't know what I think any more. I am just glad our cats are living well. Three out of four of them were born inside our house from a homeless feral mom. The fourth one was homeless and is one of the sweetest cats. She is the one in my profile picture. The cloth part in the picture is my left shoulder.. Her face was lying on my shoulder toward my back. Well, thank you for listening to my cat talk. After they are all dead (the outdoor ones), I won't be talking about them any more!
