Christian Fellowship Community Group
A safe place for Christians who Love Jesus Christ to meet and ask for prayer and share scriptures from the bible. We value the posting of Christian music, poems, stories and also personal testimonies. Please let us know your needs, concerns and have some fun getting to know each other. We treat each other with respect.

My husband had MRI about two weeks ago and today met with his doctor to go through the result in a virtual setting. The MRI shows no recurrence of a brain tumor. He has been brain tumors-free for about seven months after having seven or eight of them since he was six years old. Today's test result is a relief and joy for us. The doctor, however, will continue to monitor his brain yearly through MRI since there is no guarantee that it will not come back again.
My husband has started to come around about the faith matter. He accepted Jesus when he was 19 but never believed Jesus is God, and he said the Bible didn't do anything for him. He is one of those who "likes Jesus but hates Christians." About a month ago, I noticed he talked differently about some Bible verses and seemed to say "The only way to salvation is through Jesus." I asked him whether he now believes Jesus is God and is part of the Trinity. He said he does. I didn't want to push him too much with more questions about his faith so I just pray for him that God will help his faith grow and help him to grow in his knowledge of Him and His words. I feel he is a believer now but has not had the chance to study the Bible. It has been a long journey for me to hope that someday he would believe. He is very new to this faith thing. My guess is the change probably happened after seven years of not having brain tumor recurrences. Please keep him in your prayers when you can remember. My daughter is not a believer at this point. Please pray for her to come to know Jesus.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas as well.
Eighteen years ago, I brought up to one of my daughter's therapists my daughter's lack of social life and interactions and support from extended families and friends except for one friend she met in second grade who lives forty minutes' drive away from us and is busy with a full-time job. The therapist said my daughter could find social life online. She did communicate with some people in video game groups but the communication didn't last long. This voice-transferring allows her to interact with real people in an online setting. They can hear each other's voices as well and send text messages. My daughter is eager to practice driving again after winter is over. Please keep her in your prayers when you can remember.
You all have a wonderful weekend and happy Christmas.
