Husband fell yesterday.

This is meant to be a praise report, not that my husband fell on the bathroom floor yesterday but because the punk from the fire truck was not sent this time with the ambulance. My daughter and I couldn't pull my husband up from the bathroom floor so we called 911. I am still working on the decluttering but have not thrown out much so if that young punk came inside he would give me hell for sure. I was preparing to tell him, if he came this time, that the adult protective services woman backed out on giving us a dumpster and helpers to get stuff out from the basement. I would tell him I would call the adult protective services to ask for help (only if this punk tried to get our house condemned by the city) but since he didn't show up with the fire truck, were spared the nightmare. I am working on the decluttering which moves much slower than I want it to be because of my lack of energy and muscle pains. I lost my therapist and have not found a new one yet who will be able to help me if the city gets on our case. Please pray for me in this decluttering task when you can remember. I hope everyone has a good week.

If I recall my home of Muskegon. Doesn't always have the friendliest EMT workers....having dealt with them for some of my family. Maybe try calling 211 or Habitat for Humanity to request a couple of volunteers who can help with the decluttering. Glad you got a praise report out of the stressful fall of husband

Thank you for your advice. There is a person from Hackley Community Care who told me she would get some volunteers to help me move stuff off the basement but I had to pay for the dumpster. I disconnected myself from that health care place because this woman wanted to be the one who dictated what I should do and how to do it. She wanted to do it her way and wanted to get the city involved. If I let her run the show, the city would put a dateline. I told her to stay out of our situation and warned her she could cause us to be homeless. Today I called Muskegon Family Care where I have my new family doctor and got me a new therapist who I hope can help me with my hoarding problem and protect us from being kicked out of our own house. I need to throw out things in the basement and move stuff in the living room down there. So far, my bad shoulder on the left side would act up after I carried heavy things which is why I can get it done fast but am trying to do it. Clearing stuff off on the porch so we can get to the cat cage a few days ago got my shoulder to hurt again today. The pain goes up to my neck. I am not sure I can find any volunteers. At least I have the plan which is to throw out things in the basement as opposed to getting completely lost by the clutter and don't know where to start. I was at that point in the past. Now it is the energy that is the main problem, also me wanting to keep things. Please keep me in your prayers. I hope you have been doing well.

Sorry to hear your husband fell. I hope he wasn't hurt.

Praise God the worker who bothers you wasn't part of the crew that came to help .

Thank you for your prayers. My daughter will start another class on August 27 and has to be inside the class-room every Thursday from 10:10 a.m.-11:35 a.m. She still has not got her driver's license so I have to drive her to the class and wait for her inside the building which was how we did it. I will send you a PM. I hope you and everyone in the group have a good day today and good rest of the week.

I'm glad you're husband is ok and that you didn't have to deal with that guy harassing you again.

Yes, we were lucky he didn't come with the firetruck. The other workers who came in didn't complain. There were some stuff on the floors that were in the way that we were able to move quickly to the sides. I hope you are doing well yourself.

    I did the dumbest thing today.  I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds.  I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym.  What a dummy!

    I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon
