Christian Fellowship Community Group
A safe place for Christians who Love Jesus Christ to meet and ask for prayer and share scriptures from the bible. We value the posting of Christian music, poems, stories and also personal testimonies. Please let us know your needs, concerns and have some fun getting to know each other. We treat each other with respect.

Let's start with the bad news first. Our adult cats, five in total, suddenly got sick, becoming very weak and passive. Two of them in particular look obviously unwell. One of the two hardly ate but still drank water. I suspect there is a blockage that causes him to be unable to poop. I am not sure he has been peeing. I finally called a low cost vet clinic in town today to try to make an appointment for him to be seen but the person who answered the phone told me if there is a blockage, the clinic does not treat this problem, and she gave me phone number of an emergency vet clinic that is forty minutes drive away. I am thinking I will call a clinic that is in town rather than driving a long way, and emergency vet hospital likely will be more expensive. The problem is the money so I have not called any clinic and will see how this cat will be by tomorrow. I decided not to make any calls today because I had an appointment with my new therapist for the first session. I was debating whether to keep the appointment or to try to get the cat to the vet and I decided to wait one more day. I think an improvement of the cat's condition is he might have pooped a tiny piece of poop. I am trying to guess what caused these cats to become ill but still have no clue. Three out of the five seem to be in better shapes but look weak and passive but they are able to eat. The one that I am thinking about taking to the vet hardly ate. I am afraid he may have kidney problem. Please pray for these five cats that they will survive and that I will be able to find way (money) to get the weakest looking one to a vet.
The good news is my new therapist I just started to talk to for the first time today seems like a good therapist (competent). She is an older woman but I think I am older than she is. The main reason of my seeking therapy is to protect us from being thrown out of our own house due to the clutter. I need to be able to show those people I have a therapist who is working with me to get me out of the hoarding situation in order for them to give me more time to resolve the issue. This new therapist will work with me on my depression and anxiety issues as well. My precious therapist who I stopped seeing a month ago is a very good therapist. I can't see him anymore because I dropped out of that health care group to go back to the one I was with before. This new therapist asked me a lot of questions and seemed to conclude that I am a severe case in the depression department so she set up weekly sessions for four weeks to find out what is wrong with me. I am glad I will have someone to talk to on a regular basis. I saw several therapists in the past. Some of them worked out well, some didn't and I quit seeing them. One of the questions this new therapist asked me (from the list of questions she had on the paper) was whether I think there is a God, and I answered "Yes." I have no idea whether this therapist is a believer or not. I didn't do well with therapists who were atheists.
I hope you all have a good week. Stay safe and well.

According to His riches in glory refers to a biblical promise found in Philippians 4:19, which states that God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. This verse emphasizes God's provision and generosity towards believers.
