God has graciously forgiven us all so much. When we consider that, then we don't have the right to not forgive someone else.

Not saying forgiveness is easy, but I think that's one of the things God will help us with.

From my experiences, there were times when forgiving someone took time. The Bible tells us it is okay to be angry but do not sin out of that anger and try not to stay angry at the person for long. I am a passive-aggressive type of person. At this point in my life, I found myself turning more and more introverted and afraid to get into conflicts with people, and I don't forgive easily. I feel I have lost the ability to socialize and make friends. I hope this will change.

I know what you mean. I try to be more assertive, and not just passive, and not passive aggressive. But sometimes it's hard to see the line where I have to stand up for myself (I was raised to be ultra compliant and I never really learned to do this). Also, it's sad, but a lot of other people don't mind getting their was all the time, and then if I try to get my way they'll label me really negatively for trying to do the exact same thing in the exact same way (or even more nicely) that they do....
