Christian Fellowship Community Group
A safe place for Christians who Love Jesus Christ to meet and ask for prayer and share scriptures from the bible. We value the posting of Christian music, poems, stories and also personal testimonies. Please let us know your needs, concerns and have some fun getting to know each other. We treat each other with respect.

One of the fruits of the Spirit that Paul writes about in Galatians 5:22-23 is faithfulness. Being faithful means remaining loyal or steadfast. You hold to what you believe and are unchanged by outside circumstances.
What are you faithful to? A certain brand of chips or ketchup? Maybe a type of car or clothing store. You pretty much exclusively shop with that brand, right? But what if you’re traveling and your favorite ketchup brand isn’t being served? Do you forgo ketchup completely? Or do you waiver under the lack of options and go with the off-brand sauce being served? More likely than not, you’ll suffer through with the second-rate condiment.
But when it comes to our faithfulness in God—there is no other option! Because the power of the Holy Spirit of God lives within believers, no matter what comes our way, we have all we need to firmly believe in our hearts and minds that God is in control and He is good.
Even when a storm comes, we hold fast to God’s promises. Even when we feel like we’re drowning, we hold fast to the truth of God’s Word. Even when we can’t see how God could possibly clear our path, He makes a new one we didn’t even know existed. We know this, and we cling to this hope because God’s Word says that “God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” (Romans 8:28 NLT). We are faithful to Him because He’s faithful to us.
So as someone following Jesus, cling to the promises of God that He has revealed through His Word and through His Spirit. James 1:12 says, “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him” (ESV). |
