Last night I prayed to God about transportation to my colonoscopy test that is scheduled on February 21 (next year). One of the reasons why I postponed it since the beginning of covid was because of the transportation situation. Before covid and before Uber came into existence, there were two or three cap service companies in town that were very convenient. Now there is only one which was taken over by a different owner. The service is extremely bad. Since we don't have any connection with anyone, there is almost no one we can call to arrange a ride with. My husband and daughter don't drive so they can't take me.
After I was done with my dental appointment today and was getting inside my car at the parking lot, a car was parked at the curve across from me with writing on the car indicating they provide transportation for seniors. It appeared that the driver was waiting to pick up someone who went to that clinic. I walked over to the car and asked the driver for information. He told me to call the phone number that was written on the car, and I did. The person who answered the phone told me she would send me papers to fill out. The rides are at no charge for low-income seniors. I never heard of this transportation service before. I felt God answered my prayer that I prayed just the past 24 hours while I was lying in bed. I prayed to God for the best option of transportation. I guess this is it!

According to His riches in glory refers to a biblical promise found in Philippians 4:19, which states that God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus. This verse emphasizes God's provision and generosity towards believers.

By the way, there was an old friend in town who about two years ago wanted to connect with me (hang out on a regular basis). She told me if I needed anything to call her. Somehow I was too weird (and am still weird) and rejected her desire to reconnect. There were no harsh feelings between her and me. She will talk to me if I call her but we have not communicated for a long time. There is another lady who used to drive my husband to doctor appointments who I can call. I won't be calling the friend who I was not trying to keep in touch or hang out with her. I should qualify for the rides from that senior transportation service from what the guy told me (being over 62, low income, and able to get in and out of the car myself). I had the colonoscopy twice and hated it. With the hassle of how to get there, I just postponed it for three years. My doctor told me after I have this one done and everything is fine, they won't tell me to have it again because of my age. It seems older people don't get colon cancer or something.
