My hectic house decluttering is due to the fact that my daughter's long-distance guy and his friend are coming to visit us on May 2 and will stay inside our house, as opposed to being in a hotel as they should. When the guy came last December on the day after Christmas, my daughter and him reconnected (he stayed in our house for four days). After he left, the fall out happened again when the young man showed no interest in moving to our state. A few months later he told us he will plan to move to us and whether he can live in our house. I told her he can. While they were having problem in the relationship and my daughter told him she didn't want to date him anymore, there was another guy she met at the same video game site around the same time she met this guy who talked to her everyday. He is about her same age (she will turn 40 this coming August). Because of of me supporting the young guy, who she gave up on, they remained in touch. The plan of him visiting next month was planned before he came last December before my daughter told him she didn't want to continue the long-distance dating or any form of dating with him anymore.

This time, my daughter and the guy are at some serious cross-road. She told him if he would move to where we are, she will resume the dating. I think the guy could guess that there is another guy in the picture. This young guy (the one coming to visit next month and said he will move) and my daughter have been in the dating setting for one year and eleven months. For the guy to leave the job and his families and friends to come to be with my daughter is almost a suicide mission for him. Only God can make him do it. So far, I feel God is drawing this young guy to my daughter. It is almost impossible for my daughter to find a date. She had some online communication with two guys in the past but it didn't work out. None of them got to the point of meeting her in person, and one of them lives with a girlfriend. Please say prayers for my daughter and this young man and for me too for strength and calm as the guy and his friend plan to visit for one week and our house has very tight space and I have been pooped out at this point from clearing and cleaning our house and am still not done with the task yet. Please pray that God will show us clearly His will in this. My daughter's situation is it is difficult for her to find someone and her life will be miserable and even fatal if she has no one to be with her after my husband and I are gone. She won't be able to live alone and has been on SSI since she was 14 for social anxiety disorders and genralized depression. Please pray that I will consult God about this matter regarding the young man and follow the right paths.

I pray you can get the decluttering in time to meet the future in-laws. Maybe your daughter can help with the cleaning?

I got the junk on the two chairs in the living room all cleared out and will take them down to the basement. What is left to do is washing the cats' litter pails. My daughter is very bad with cleaning. She knows how to organize her stuff in her room but still has to learn how to clean. She just does not like doing it. I will have to get her to do it. There are two days left before the guests arrive. I was worried I might not have time to rest but there is only a little bit left to do. Thank you for your prayers. Please pray for the two young men for safty in travelling. I hope you have a good rest of the week. I feel like being crushed by an elephant. They will arrive early morning this Saturday. We are going to go to Holland to visit my daughter's friend on that day so it is going to be very hectic for me because I am the driver.

How was the visit on May 2nd?

Let's say, all who were involved "fell off the horses!" and are injured and are figuring out where to go from where they fell off to. I have been drowning myself in my native language (Thai) songs in youtube as my way of coping. My daughter is disappointed and confused. I am disappointed but less confused. I will save the details for another time. It is now up to the boy whether he wants to kill it completely or try to save it. As far as God's will in this (whether this boy is the one God has in mind for my daughter), I don't know and am leaning to "no." If they part, it will be mutual and with love. The boy took us out to restaurants everyday (seven days) and spoiled my daughter with stuffs from book stores and gift shops. What could go wrong? The answer is "life." He seems to feel if he settles with her, he will not have any money left (LOL). It sounds like a joke but not a funny joke under the circumstance. It is real and sad. God has sense of humor, and this one really hurts. The food was nice though. They were expensive and tasty. We laughed and took some photos and went to Lansing and walked in the mall there, and in the end we as I said fell off the horse and cried. There has not been verbal breaking up yet and they still talk but he and I have not talked since he and his friend left. I think his friend might have tried to reach out today indirectly (non-verbally). I have been praying to God to show us His will. It is not easy to fix this one. I promise more specific details of the story soon but right now I am grieving. My therapist told me I have no life and therefore live through my daughter. I feel emotionally attached to this boy and am sad when they are breaking up.

My mom used to live through me. That's a lot of pressure for your daughter. Maybe you can find some more hobbies you enjoy. It's great you're focusing on your singing. I will be praying for God's will in your daughter's life. Amen

I am glad you like the song. My daughter and I are very close. She never went anywhere without someone with her and does not have driver license but got behind the wheels to practicing driving and it has been slow. She can walk into doctors' clinics alone from the parking lot but when she has to go into a big hospital building, I go inside with her.

My daughter qualified for SSI when she was 14 based on social anxiety disorders and generalized depression. She got her highschool deploma through what is called homebound education. After she got the highschool deploma, I had the options of getting her to learn how to function in life through programs that help people on SSI or helping her take classes in the communnity college. I chose the college for her. She never lived by herself in an apartment or with other people anywhere. She is the kind of person that will be taken advantage of easily if she has to live alone which I don't see how she will be able to. Bad men will use her for sex. I don't want her to end up in some group home and hope she can find a new human support group after my husband and I are gone. I boy I told you about came very close to moving into our house but something went wrong that caused him to step back. I have no idea what will happen. I am leaning towards her breaking up with him but they still talk to each other. Please pray for them. Here's is a cute Thai song I ran into today.

You're doing great. I would promote you helping your daughter to be as independent as possible.

I have a cousin I worked with him for three years to get his high school diploma. His mom died in 2023, 2 months become mom. His dad was in prison for a while. My cousin is about 28 now and I have no idea where he is. Some family tell me his dad mistreats him and had him arrested... I wish I had taught his how to work, ride public transportation and drive....I pray God watch and keep protected all the special development people in Jesus name

I hope your cousin is fine. I talked to my therapist yesterday. She suggested I get my daughter into the Pioneer program. They work with people on disability. I told her I want to get back to practicing driving before snow comes and sign up for a class in the fall at the community college. She has been holding up well so far after the boy backed out. She said he is sad. Since they started to date long-distance, I have been praying that God will show me whether this boy is who He has in mind for her. I felt I never got clear answer. When he said he was willing to move, I thought he could be God's will for my daughter. Now I have to wait and see. He is only 28, and my daughter will turn 40 this coming August. He is not ready for a serious relationship. He has the same name as your Mr. K and is acting the same too. I became emotionally attached to him from hearing about him and asking about him for two years and seeing him in person three times. He is an extreme introvert and is into video games which was how he ran into my daughter at a video game site online. My daughter decided to break up with him last December but I talked her into trying to fix the problem since the boy still wanted to fix it. Now the problem got bigger and more difficult. I don't know whether God wants to fix it, and I don't know His will. I think he will be okay with my daughter moving to the house he lives in with other people (in Washington) but we don't have anyone who can help us in emergency situations; besides, she will be used by him for sex with no commitment. He is the kind of men who does not believe that sex should be for marriage. He and I have not talked to each other since he and his friend left. Please keep them in your prayers. I feel they eventually will break up.

I pray God continues to guide you and your daughter. Practicing driving while the weather is good is a great idea. Your therapist may be right about the Pioneers program. I will look for special programs in the area but I have to get ready for work right now
