Isiaiah 42;2 ...Message from the true vine
This is the word of God for you and me today. You've been through a lot recently that are exhausting and overwheling. You've passed through difficult terrains just to be in truth and remain the the vine. Just know that your heavenly father is with you. Nothing happens without His knowledge. He sees and understands all.
Yes, everything seems to be against you and the rejection , slander and derisions are unbearable. Don't forget the devil will do everything to put you down, but Christ won over him. Christ made his defeat a public spectacle. The devil will leave you alone when he noticed you have decided to remain in the word.
It doesn't matter whatever we're going through, God is with us at every phase and stage. Just walk in the spirit and you'll understand where God is coming from and taking you to. He says though your beginning may be small but your latter end will increase. Those who truly wait upon the Lord shall indeed renew/regain their strength. No regrets with walking in His love and commands ... no disappointments and no loss.
God made the Israeliste to realize that He was with them during their plunderings and in them being looted. In fact that He was teaching them a lesson . The lesson that will make them come out of the fire remolded and out of the waters cleansed.
We should understand that walking with God entails waking with our spiritual mind opened and sensitive. This is to enable us to be able to grabblle with the lessons and expriences meant for our spiritual growth and development. A mother may forget the child that she's suckling but God cannot forget His own children.
This is what is meant to walk and live in the spirit. The holy spirit takes over our lives ... becoming our instructor, director, manager, advocate, teacher, intercessor etc. Every walk with the holy spirit means walking with our spirit mind enlarged and heart ripped off for God.
Isaiah 43;2 begins with "Fear not' -- this is to remind us that we should not be afraid in face of any danger or temptations or disaster. What we should be concerned about should be the messages embedded in the trials. At the end, we'll sing songs of victory because Jesus is always with us at every turning of our lives ... he won't allow the water to overflow/drown us or the fire to burn or scotch us.
Praises to master Jesus for His message for us this day.
Evangelist Esther

We finally came to the point where the clearing of the stuffs at the damaged areas will begin. Tomorrow a woman from the content removal company will come to our house to start the plan to move and pack up things that will go to the storage. The contractor told me unless he finds out that it is not safe for us to stay inside the house during the whole repairs, his plan is to do it in such a way...
This short sermon or devotion helps me a lot. It gives me consolation and hope and reminders me that God is with us (believers) and will carry us through the difficult times and give us victory.
Our house is still in the process of getting money from the home insurance company for repairs. It looks like we will be able to stay in the house while they rebuild the walls and floors of the two rooms upstairs (which are two small rooms in the attic) and replacing the roof all of which were damaged by the tree. A very good thing that came out of this is we got help to thin out the stuffs that were stored in the rooms (books, dolls and some shelves). The two rooms are completely empty right now. The walls, floors and ceilings need to be redone. If the payment from the home insurance can move fast, the repairs could be finished around Christmas.
For those who know about my daughter's dating dramas, just yesterday there was another twist (turn). My daughter figured out that the guy (the second guy) who she has been talking to intensively for many months is not compatible with her. She likes talking to him and they are able to relate to each other in the depression illness issues. I was very concerned for my daughter about the fact that both of them have serious mental health problems and I was very relieved when she told me she is not interested in dating him (he is someone she met online at a video game site). The other guy who she had a fallout with in May after he came to see her in person for the third time, and still talked to each other lightly and causually seems to want to keep the weak connection after he was the one who backed out. So the story was she broke up with him around November last year but they still communicated (then he tried to fix it but ended up backing out). The other guy came right into the picture while they were having trouble in the relationship which was a long-distance relationship. I feel there is a slim chance that the first guy (who she had the fallout out with) may visit her for the fourth time to patch things up. I don't know that will happen but I think he cares about her a lot even though he was the one who whacked hard on the barely survivng relationship. To mem,us losing him equals me losing the hope of my daughter having someone to be with her after my husband and I are gone. By the way, there is a third guy who has been showing interest in talking to her but has not shown her his pictures. She never heard his voice and still does not know much about him. She thinks he could be living with a girlfriend or wife! My daughter is 40. She was born in August. She told me yesterday she wants to see whether she and the first guy can "talk" and fix it. I am just so relieved that she is not going to date the other guy. Nothing is certain right now but she needs a future companion in order to survive. My former therapist, who is a 60 year old man, agrees that there is a big chance that my daughter won't be able to survive emotionally if she lives in a group home. Please pray for her when you can remember and please pray for us about the home repairs that it will go smoothly and that we and the cats will be safe staying inside the house during the repairs.
We're mostly all ok here. My father got sick near the end of last year and improved for a while, then got sick again. He's ok but has memory and mobility issues now - so, he'll be staying in the facility and not returning to the home. One of my siblings and I are working on taking care of his necessities for him - but there are some rules and procedures we have to go through first.
I'm still looking for work and still swamped with important stuff that keeps me from working, so prayers are definitely appreciated.
I'm glad your daughter is using wisdom in the way she moves forward with her men friends, hopefully she'll find a nice single Christian man near her age.
I might not be here regularly but might pop in from time to time. Definitely will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Thank you for your kind words about my daughter. I, too, hope whoever she will get with will be a Christian but it may be like searching for gold in the video game sites. The ones she met so far are men who play video games a lot. My daughter happens to be very good with video games. These people are in a totally different world. Most guys she met (online) are nice people. Some have depression. Most of them have jobs. In Thailand it seems there are a lot of young guys who play video games and take drug and not working. It seems not many women are into the video games. My daughter started to do the video game voice demonstration for people who sell video games online and need somone to help them advertise their products. She has nice voice that attracts the guys. She has done the voice for over two thousand vedeo games so far. She sounds like a happy kind cheerful person when she does the voice and can read and type very fast.
The group is very slow as usual. It is the Bible verses that keep the group alive. When you have nothing to say, you can always post Bible verses. I will remember to pray for you and your son and father. It is always nice to see you. I don't have much going on so it is not difficult for me to check on the group daily but I have not posted much recently. I pray you and everyone have a good week and stay strong in the faith.
