I have been in the divorce/custody process since early Feb of this year, had a temporary hearing in June at which time I was awarded custody of my two children with CS. My soon to be x lovely bride finally realized that she would not do well if we went back to court, I told her in an e-mail what I would settle for, she agreed an had her lawyer send a formal response with the agreement, my lawyer drew up the decrees, I approved them, her lawyer got them yesterday, she picked them up for review today and says if all is in order she would sign them this afternoon.
It has been almost one year (10 days short) since she went to rehab for 40 days, came home for 2 weeks and left for good, I am ready for this to be behind me, it is very distracting to say the least. Please wish me luck that she signs this afternoon...........

Well I was 24 hours off, but she has signed the papers this morning, in a few short days after a judge signs it I will have PERMANENT primary physical custody, and SOLE legal custody of my babies with CS, it has been a long year,,,,,,,,,,,, this is her weekend to have the kids, when she pics them up tonight I think I am going to take a big drink.

I have a short hearing Tuesday morning at 9 to finalize the divorce, I don't think it will get here soon enough, I am so drained from all of this, I am glad I have a 4 day holiday weekend right after this is over.

Done, finished, filed, finalized, finally. She didn't even show to court, we split the remaining minor assets last night when she dropped of the kids, I have spent the last 14 years of my life with that woman through having two kids, two marriages and two divorces, it has been a hell of a roller coaster ride, I now have sole custody of my two children and I know I will have to deal with her from now on in regards to the children, and I pray that I can have patience with her in doing so, hard to believe it is finally finished, that chapter is finally closed.
