I know what it is like to not see your children. When my daughter was taken away from me I didn't see her for weeks and then it was only when I got my lawyer involved that they let me see her for a 1 hour supervised visitation. It was the hardest time in my life.

Last month, my STBXH did this exact thing to me. I spent the last 10 yrs working my arse off for the family(working part time, taking the kids to all of their appts, getting all of their needs met) and he claimed that I spent the entire marriage being abusive: physically, emotionally and verbally. Luckily, I was only apart for 5 days from my son but it was the last straw and I served him with divorce papers(we were only going to separate at the time).

It sucks...how do you prove you didn't do it? I still have to face those allegations in the divorce.

I am there now will idk what to say mabey soon to be ex wife mabey not idk. i said something that regret saying and i would never have done in all my life like take the kids from her. so she got restraing order on me saying ive done a bunch of things. so needless to say it been a week since i seen my two young children or my wife she hates my guts right now which hurt me. but i have to try to fight to get my children back and idk what to do when i go into that hearing. im so lost and in so much pain but i really dont think my wife really knew the full seriouness of this situation when she did it. i think she thought im going to use this to get time to heal and then i will take it off when im ready. cuz she is still trying to let me see the kids and twice she has tried to to txt me and once called me. but there nothing i can say or do or i go to jail so i take pics of the calls and txt and i delete them and move on trying to heal fro myself but i love them so dam much and i blaim my self for all this stupid crap

OMG, this is me! My xDH has a TRO and the court date just keeps getting pushed back and back. I have not had an unsupervised visit since October!
I only see them once per week, in a public place, and my sister has to be there. She is SO stressed out! She doesn't want me to miss my visits, and she is turning her life upside down to make the visits happen but it's f-ing with her own life and family.
The TRO is based on half-truths and exaggerations, and LIES! There was a CPS case because I lost my temper back in October (that is what started all this), but CPS closed the case. The worker could clearly see it was a one-time incident, and I am not a danger to my children.
xDH has a new GF, and it is so obvious he is trying to replace me with her as their mother.
Even the kids know this is all crazy and are asking when things will "go back to normal," but I'm not supposed to talk to them about it!!!!!!
I can't even talk to them on the phone during the week because he took their phone away.

My mom is suing me for custody and claiming I neglected my daughter and that she was in an extreme and dangerous environment... all the while everyone is listening to her because shes got money and I'm struggling with everything I have to fight for my daughter... It's like no matter what I do I'll never be good enough in her eyes and she's always trying to get the upper hand on me and ruin any and all chances at having a happy life. She forced herself into the adoption of my oldest and ever since my daughter was born shes been trying to shove her nose into my life telling me how I'm doing everything wrong. I don't even know what to do anymore, we're just about 4 years into this whole court crap and my fiance refuses to give up but we both know we'll never get enough money to fully fight this off and get my daughter back. I want so badly to just throw my hands up and just let her go but I don't want to do that without getting some kind of guarantee that I can still talk to her on the phone, get pictures and updates or even see her at all... I know if I just let go today without asking for anything my mom will do everything she can to delete me from my daughters memory and trash talk me to my daughter like she did to me with my dad.... being my dad is passed now I have no one to turn to for advice on what to do or how i'm supposed to fight this at all... It's like pulling teeth trying to find and get a pro bono attorney, the one i have now is a total jerk who can't make up his mind on how much he wants to charge us, then he's shady af, and drags his feet with everything he does so by the time he gets to where he is ready to move forward we don't have the money anymore.... nothing in my life does anything to make me happy.... I stilll don't understand or know what i did to deserve to live a life filled with such misery and pain....
