I took xeloda for the treatment of bowel cancer 4 years age

Thanks for the reply. We are looking for someone who is currently needing Xeloda. A friend was changed from it to another just after he had his prescription refilled. It is a brand new bottle from the pharmacy and I guess you understand the expense involved. Our friend wants to give it to someone in need of it.

I took Xeloda / capecitabine / for 6 months. - 8 cycles - 2 weeks on pills /3000mlg a day /, then one week off the pills. I had some hand and foot syndrome but it was quite bearable, a rush pretty itchy on the upper body and on arms. One week ago I finished my last cycle and will be going to a CClinic in four weeks time for a final assessment of my condition. I am 73 y.o. and I feel great as in my prime time. I do not have any pain. Only problem is changed BM after surgery / about 7" of large colon resected with 47 lymph nodes/. Two lymphs nodes showed positive. One of low grade and one of high grade. I hope that my treatment with Xeloda/ capecitabine/ worked. I definitely refused to get CVAD installed and being administered with Folflox Regimen, a very agressive treatment which was not supposed to be used on elder patients. Oncologists prefer that method as they do not want to divert from their routine. Xeloda is used to as a mono therapy or in conjuction with leucovorin in many EU countries, Japan and Canada.
