Very well said. I also think of myself as two different people, in that the me of now wants what it wants and doesn't care about what it takes from the me of the future.

I like the concept of present me versus future me. The me of 2015 definitely almost ruined the me of 2016.

I always have......just having trouble maintaining that focus lately. Not sure why. Well I know a few reasons but it has been like a switch was flipped two years ago. Now I have trouble avoiding temptation.

It's almost a week by week decision for me not to go back to 'that life'.

I was actually telling my former AP who I saw the other week.........it's like I push back the decision to cheat.....see how things are next month, then the next......hell its been almost a year and a half so it's working for me. I almost think it's a habit I'm breaking. It was a way of life for just about 7 years.
He said he agreed & felt the same way.......or.....lol.....he left me and found someone more willing!

^ bottom line: he is not worth hurting the man I love over and certainly not worth losing him for.
But, hell, I'll continue to harmlessly flirt when I feel comfortable the recipient is clear on my intention.

The pushing back for another month works in my head. I have been pushing back my EA for two years now but the attraction is relentless. We hadn't seen each other for almost 6 and not spoken/texted for 2 months. Still think about her often. I can't imagine what I would do if I saw her. Probably would just pick her up and carry her off......

In the mean time I am not overtly flirting but it's as if women know a man's radar is up. They can smell blood/weakness or something.
