Anyone else come into this group because they haven't cheated yet but think they could? I've only been married for two years and I have a 10 month old so I'm finally getting my mojo back. I've started getting attention again and damn it feels good! I've gotten in contact with an old friend I used to work with 5 years ago that lives 6ish hours away so right now it's been a safe fantasy but he lives in NYC where my friends and I are planning a trip to soon and I don't know if I can keep it a fantasy when push comes to shove. He even invited me to a get away weekend with him to atlantic city and i seriously considered it, then when I slept on it I felt horrible about it.
My husband is a great man and an awesome father, he's done nothing to make me want to cheat or leave but I think about cheating 24-7, and I think I'm getting an eating disorder trying to lose weight and look desirable. Ive read a lot of psychological research studies (not articles) about cheating and I don't fit the stereotype of a woman looking to do a "mate-switch" I really just desire lust, sexy with someone else and that feeling of new. I've cheated on bfs in the past but never thought I would on my husband. What can I do for help before I make a mistake and it's too late?!
