Cervical cancer is a malignancy of the cervix. Worldwide, it is the second most common cancer of women. It may present with vaginal bleeding but symptoms may be absent until the cancer is in advanced stages, which has made cervical cancer the focus of intense screening efforts utilizing the Pap smear. This is the place to talk about your experience with the cancer.
I am two weeks late on my period which I am never late or have ever missed a period. I thought it may be from my HPV because the HPV caused some cervical displasia and it has been 6 months since my last biopsy so I thought okay its gettin worse. I went back to the doctor and he found a cysts on my ovary yesterday. I am going at 3 pm for a sonnagram to see exactly what it is, how big, and its positioning. I am not that worried because I know I have a good doctor who will treat me affectively. Yet sometimes I worry I am that one case that doesn't responde to treatment. I am only 20 and my uterus has these problems.

My heart goes out to you. I was around that same age when I had cerv. cancer and a cyst on my ovary as well, and endometriosis. So, I understand and you are not alone. Hang in there and keep us updated,k. Take care and hugs.

Well i got the sonnagram but the the technician could not give me answers only the radiologist can so I will not know anything for about a week. It sucks waiting. You know something is wrong with your body and you cant change it. It is easy for my friends to say u will be fine im sure but when every month for more than 10 yrs you got ur period on time and one month its late and its because of a cysts, u cant help but feel worried. I just knew there was something wrong.

i know cysts is curable but the doctor is talking about putting me on birth control and i think birth control caused this! i just got off birth control less than a yr ago because of the adverse reactions. i have tried every form of bc and i am very sad to have to go back on it. also i dont like the fact that it is one more thing wrong with my uterus and im so young.

Hey hon, don't worry right now. The earlier they find things the better chance that they can take care of the. I have a lot of cyst b/c i have pcos. They can cryo your eggs and inseminate later. Anyway. Best wishes to you and stay healthy. Being active and healthy helps your emotional and physical health.
