In the past few years, I have noticed that disabled people appreciate the small things in life and are more determined than most ambulatory people and that has helped me accept being in a wheelchair, but here lately I have been really irritated because I'm stubborn and want to go where I want when I want without anyone's help. Any time I want to go anywhere my mom has to take me, because I can't drive and it really bothers me. I like talking to people and am adventurous, but I don't really have any friends or a boyfriend because I don't trust a lot of people and it's hard to find people who are willing to help me with the few things I need help with, and anytime I find someone I like as far as a relationship, I feel like they look at me and go she's pretty, but it'd be harder to have sex with her, so I don't want her. Any insight?

I know wht you mean..before I met my husband, guys would show interest on me and approach me. Most of the time I was sitting down, so they didn't know I use crutches. When they saw I use crutchs it was like 'oops..moving on'. I know it can be annoying...but they are people out they that don't care about the disability.

Try using the line "but have you ever had sex in a wheelchair? ;) yolo right?" I wish i was joking but that's how my bf hooked me lol but seriously there are guys out there that are willing to be patient and work with you. You'll find someone. It just takes patience and perserverance. Best of luck to you :)

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
