Celiac Disease Support Group
Celiac disease is an auto-immune disorder of the digestive system that occurs in genetically-predisposed individuals. It is characterised by damage or flattening to all or part of the villi lining the small intestine, which interferes with the absorption of nutrients. This damage is caused by eating anything with gluten (gliadin), a protein found in wheat, rye, and barley...
For these issues i'm taking the intestimine powder which is helping so so much- it's nutritional support for the intestinal track and helps to heal it. also I take some good bacteria tablets (like probiotics) before I eat so 2-3 times a day basically and digestive enzymes.. These are working well for me- I recommend them!
I actually saw an irrodoligist and she was the one to recommend me these and I thought ok give it a go- it's helping me so much. The gp was only misdiagnozing me and giving me stuff for stomach ulcers, which only helped a bit and only while i was on them.

I never eat the melted cheese or cheese wiz stuff. And just as omastoy said about the restaurants using the same oil for everything, you need to ask if they have a dedicated fryer for chips or fries. Then that does not guarantee that something with a batter has not fallen into the dedicated fryer....It happened to me once, so never again!
If I order a baked potato with cheese, like at Wendy's, I ask for the shredded cheese not the liquid cheese.
I also find intestamine helps me...
But I am intolerant of/allergic to corn and potatoes as well as wheat and gluten grains. I am stuck with rice or millet and I think millet is yuck.
Lots of "chinese" or asian food that is served in restaurants is made with wheat flour even when it would traditionally be made with rice flour (such as tempura or chow mein noodles)... I stick to sushi, thai or vietnamese.
My best reminder: LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER!
Thanks for info Carsti
