General Mills advertise that ONLY the RIce Chex are gluten free! They had to change the recipe to make the rice chex GF.

What makes you think that all the other chex are gluten free?

Well, I've been to your site now and realize why you are under the impression that this is such wonderful news.

There are plenty of companies who produce GF products like these. They taste wonderful. They do not make Celiac's ill. They are safe.

Then some idiot stock person decided they should be nest to or under the gluten mixes of the same type. You find them all mixed in with the contaminated product.

With baking products the flour leaks thru the bag and gets everywhere. That will make Celiac's ill. There is no way to wash off the box or inside bag so the product is useless.

here's hoping that they stock these items properly in the stores near you.

The new reformulated cereals will be manufactured in their GF facility where they make Rice Chex.

Check the General Mills website they list their cereals as they are producing them in their GF facility.

I would "NEVER" have posted here if the cereals were not made in a dedicated facility.

General Mills is working closely with the celiac foundation to make sure these products are tested for gluten. Like I stated before, not all the flavors are GF yet.

As they are being produced in thier GF Facility they will label the cereal boxes GF. They hope to have all thier flavors (except wheat chex) GF by June of 2009.

Now THAT IS IMPRESSIVE!!!!!

In case you can't tell :-) I've heard things like this so many times over the decades and been dissapointed that I do not get my hopes up anymore.

I just saw that the Honey Nut Chex are now labeled GF in my grocery store. So far the only ones labeled GF are Rice, Corn and Honey Nut. Hopefully in the next few months the others will be reformulated.

So far, besides the Rice Chex, I've only been able to find the Corn Chex in the new gluten free formulation, but I'm looking forward to the store getting the other gluten free flavors. I was gettin tired of eating plain old rice chex!

I looked at the chocolate and strawberry ones today and they still are not labeled GF. In time I guess.

In my store there are a mixture of gluten free and not gluten free in the Honey nut chex, So you have to read the box carefully. BTW The Honey nut chex are really really good!

We still have none but the rice chex available here. Check the boxes!

Today I saw rice, honey nut, corn, and chocolate chex all gluten free!! I kinda feel like a kid in a candy store lol

That great info. Like everyone else I am a bit bored with the same cereal. Does anyone know if they sell a high fiber cereal that is gluten free??????
