Hello and welcome. I to am new to the site. You asked if any one else has FMS and IBS and celiac. I am now coming to the conclusion that it is all the same. I believe I have been misdianosed and celiac is what I really have. I tested pos. on the blood test, but my byopsy was neg.

Hello!! I think that you will like it here. Yes, not only fibro., but for me, the actual diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease also. Since going gluten free 18 months ago, my symptoms are still going away. I agree with chensley, in that it may all be one disease. I know, for me it definitely is. I am able to eat small amounts of casein/lactose now, but it is a little too late for me. Mis-diagnosed for 55 years, I have osteo., and some residual nerve damage that will always remind me of the total stupidity of the medical system.

Do you know if the lab is competent to read the blood for Celiac Disease?

thanks girls!!I think my gut feeling about this celiac/fibro. connection was right on. I don't think drs. really have a clue. I've been full circle to all the "best drs." and I'm now back to my primary. she's awesome!

I firmly believe my FM was caused by a combination of celiac and casein intolerance too. It seems that those of us with these kind of symptoms take a lot longer to heal. I have been gf for about a year and a half now and slowly the FM is improving. I hope you begin to notice a huge difference soon. Take care.

I've been diagnosed with FMS, IBS and Celiac Disease, but I'm only sure of my Celiac diagnosis. I had a 6 month period with bad IBS symptoms, but now nothing unless I'm glutened. I don't have wide spread pain, but specific joint pain. I'm waiting for rheumatic factor blood tests.

These things seem to go hand in hand. If you have one, you are more likely to have others.
