And FYI, Betty Crocker IS a General Mills product. Same company but obviously there are issues involved in manufacturing gf cake mix that don't apply to making kids cereal.
I've heard they are sometimes coated with wheat flour to keep them from sticking. Much like rice crispies, apparently that's not required to be on the label since it's not an ingredient or something like that.
Sooooo-another old wives tale, or is that true?
