Caring For Aging Parents Support Group
Caring for aging parents can be a difficul time as we become the caretakers for our parents. This broad responsibility can encompass such services as assisted living, adult day care, long term care, nursing homes, hospice care, and in-home care. Whether you have just started caring for your parents or just need a place to talk, we're here.

There are always so many things to deal with. I just wish you the very best.
For my mom it was Alzheimer's. She came to live with my husband and I after she had a pacemaker put in for her Afib. My brother and family had cared for her for some years. I got her set up with doctors and regular appointments and did it all again when we moved. She was officially diagnosed in 2012 and passed in 2018. She declined in spurts and plateaued in between. It's not easy caring for a parent, but if you will try to make the most of your time together and try some healing, what you do spend together can be very fulfilling. Is she willing to go to counseling with you? I hope you are able to find a balance with your mom.
