Caring For Aging Parents Support Group
Caring for aging parents can be a difficul time as we become the caretakers for our parents. This broad responsibility can encompass such services as assisted living, adult day care, long term care, nursing homes, hospice care, and in-home care. Whether you have just started caring for your parents or just need a place to talk, we're here.
You are right, the squeaky wheel gets the grease!
My dad was on oxygen for the last year and mostly used the concentrator which was a bit noisy but we had the luxury of keeping it in a spare room and running the lead through the house. During the last week of his life he needed the tanks because the oxygen is richer.
We did have to have it locked away because my mum would say "We don't need this heater on do we?" and turn it off. lol
I wish you well in making whatever decision you do for your mum. Kim
