Mom has spent almost all day sleeping, seems she can hardly keep her eyes open at all, and when she tries to she looks so spacey. When I took her to the potty awhile ago, she tried to sit back down on the wheelchair to pee instead of turning around to the john. I won't let her take her pants down facing the commode again, that's for sure! She told DH that she was seeing some strange things... and was looking for her toothbrush in the den on the sofa. She just seems very confused...

I'm not sure what to do: should I try to keep her awake more? We did offer to go for a walk with the dog but she said No. Layne just offered to take her out on the front porch, which we do most every day, but she said no to that too. Should I call hospice? I think not as I can't see what they can do for her. It's just a bad day I guess.
