I feel like I want to jump off a brige right now. I wont but its how I feel.
She is in a lot of pain she says. Her arms. Lady holding her up for mamogram kept pullig her arms. She also must have pulled muscle day before lifting dishes up to put away. She also has arthritus in shoulder and arm? Brother lives with her. He can take her to doctor. Yet she is reluctant to go.
It's too cold on Monday. Tuesday and Wednesday will be rainy. She says she can't hold umbrella and use walker. I said have brother hold umbrella for her. She had a reason that would not work but didnt understand her. I said get brother to take wheelchair. You can hold umbrella. Cant do that. Might have to go to bathroom at doctors. She goes frequently. Then get brother to bring walker. Her responce is he wouldnt want to go back to car for walker. I said ask lady who does light cleaning for you. She would take walker and wheelchair. She says she wont becommig till Wednesday. And has to do the wash. And she is always working so she wont have time to do the wash and cleaning. Brother is lazy and won't do it. I live almost two hours away. And have to take back roads to gettherecause I wont drive beltway. Besides she has my brother right there. And the lady might be able to take mom to doctor if she asked. Anddo the wash anotherday.

IDK, kind of harsh, but maybe such a shocker question will spur her into taking one of your suggestions.

On Dec 1st he caught me and whined about his backache and wanting me to get on the roller coaster of taking him to appointments, Finding doctors, making appointment, driving him which includes waking him in time, chasing down paperwork that he loses, putting on my best MOMMY thoughts because he will break things, dump things and generally just do anything he wants and claim that anything anyone else does (like carry a water bottle for a full day of doctor visits), he will tell me "these things are TRAPS!"
Anyway, not too many days later, I found out that I have a serious medical condition that means I have to put ME FIRST for maybe the next year. It is interesting to actually put me first. I highly recommend it BEFORE you have a major medical crisis.
I couldn't agree with Blue and Pepper more, if you don't take a stand, you'll just have to put up with the (get me, give me, buy me, drive me) routine.
I'd stop answering the phone and stop visiting for awhile. Take a respite and tell the brother to take over. She's making a much bigger deal out of everything than has to be and the only way she'll keep doing all this is if it's allowed.
