His lung did not have an "air bubble", that was my poor mother's interpretation of what she was told, it was because his lung is not inflating back since he had the surgery. (biopsies of lung) He's been there since Monday, and I can't do shit cause I have to work. I feel so fucking shitty now, I was so hoping he would get to come home today. So he's not 2 freaking hours away. I mean can't they do anything? damn. I have a feeling that my mom does not make a very good advocate, as she is just a sit back to take whatever they tell her person, and never question a thing they do or say. When you ask her what the plan is for his treatment she doesn't know and gets upset with you for asking. I just wish I was there so I could get some goddamned answers from these "just let nature take it's course" fucking morons that call themselves doctors. ASSHOLES is what i'm thinking of right now. What would they be doing if this was thier father? that's my fucking question, what if this was one of thier family members? They've made him upset, and leaving a tube in that is causing him a great deal of pain. HOW is that helping? How is keeping a patient in so much pain that it causes thier blood pressure to sky rocket, and how is giving them fucking pain pills helping them to inflate thier Goddamned lung?

Can you identify these rom-coms from just a screenshot from the middle of the films? This is a multiple choice quiz so even if you're not entirely sure you can always take a guess and at least have a 25% chance of getting it right anyway, so why not have a go?! https://www.buzzfeed.com/alysaurus688/rom-com-screenshot-trivia-quiz

The best luck I've had in my family is when one of us approached the doctors and other staff and asked questions as calmly as we could. In times like the one you are in, calm can be very hard to do.
Wishing you much luck for your father.
It is true, people our parent's age are not very good advocates, they think the doctors know all...
that being said, I am sure they are all working hard to try to get your dad well enough to get out of their hospital!
Are you able to go there this weekend?
If you could meet with a doctor in charge of his care and get questions answered, that might help. If not, I am sure your mom could have someone call and explain things to you...she has to give permission..
I hope things get better over the weekend.
I've often thought all that (and more) about doctors when my parents were not doing well.
Besides, it doesn't take cursing to be offensive...we are all just trying to swim up stream.
I vote for peace.
