I go to my mom and dads house twice a week. I do the laundry and change beds or something else my mom and dad ask me to do. Then on sundays take out garbage and do things they ask me to do. My mom has diabetes and tries to take care of my dad who has 2 j tubes in his stomach. Both my parents take meds an pain meds. My dad is 79 an mom72. I have a sis that comes over their house once in awhile, she is younger and is the head of their estate. I am oldest, have been taken off will, by my dad cause he said its because of my bipolar. I had to set boundries with my mom. I told her if she went in the hospital, i couldnt take care of dad. They recently got a puppy, yes, a 3 month old puppy my sister bought. I am upset, my mom is a hoarder. My sis dose nothing, but I do alot. When the snow comes, I take care of it,but I have my family to take care of too. I get anxiety just thinking of going over my parents house. On top it all, my sis a alcoholic. I love my parents but am getting stressed out. I told my mom she needs extra help, maybe a nurse to come over a couple times a week. She was talking about it, but it went on the back burner. I am just tired . Social services came over last year cause a pt called on them from the hospital. Nothing happened. I am holding it all in from telling my sister off, but it would do no good. What else can I do to get help. They wont let anyone else in the home. I tried to ask my mom if it would be ok if I could get some money, but I get 10 here or there. Any advise?

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

NO PROBLEM!
I am sorry, it sounds like you are getting a rather bad end of things. You set limits with your mother, perhaps you need to set some limits with your sister.
Getting money from parents when they are alive for taking care of them is something I never really thought about. One can make arguments both ways, I'm not going either way. I'll just say that it is a personal issue between you and your family.
A friend of mine was written out of the will of his parents, mostly because his dad passed first and his mother was very vindictive. But a lawyer told his mom that she can't legally write her son (my friend) out of her will. So she gave him 1/3 of the estate, and his sister got the remaining 2/3 of the estate.
You might want to talk to a lawyer in your state about what is going on. Different states have different laws. My friend's mother passed a number of years ago, so the laws that impacted him may have been changed since then.
I wish I had something more to offer, sorry.
Gentle hugs.
