I am new to this group. Just looking for some understanding people who might be experiencing what I am going thru. I am a spouse to an injured (non-combat) federal contractor. He was injured 2 years ago and we are STILL waiting for someone to approve medical testing. FINALLY have a federal comp court date but not till Feb. UGH! So I sit and watch my hubby deal with pain, loss of feeling, and sometimes depression. He is still mobile even though we have had some months where we thought he would not be. I get totally frustrated and don't want to burden my family....well those that are understanding and will listen. I searched for support groups for injured spouses and could not find one. Guess at times I am a Caregiver since I have to pick him up off the floor or help him to bed. I know I have to be strong for him but sometimes it is all a front. Just hoping one day IT will all get better! Thanks for listening!
