I've been taking care of both of my parents, specifically my mom, since right out of high school. I'm 30 years old now and my mom's health has always been bad but now it's really bad. Since October, she went into a hospital for pneumonia and came out with heart failure. They gave her a life vest for her heart which she refuses to wear and I can't say I blame her because its impossible, she's extremely weak and just beyond depressed about the whole situation. She takes depression and anxiety medication but I think it's the point that she's just giving up. For the past 2 weeks, she will not let anyone touch her which has now resulted in bad bed sores. She is back in the hospital and they needed to do skin graphs for her bed sores which was risky but worked. I don't care for the hospital she's in since we've had past problems with them but I am really not a fan of her doctor. The doctor wants my mom to go to rehab - she refuses and then in the same breath she says that she needs hospice because "her quality of life is so terrible." I am tired of everyone giving up on my mom ESPECIALLY doctors. EVERY doctor she has ever had has given up on her except her foot doctor. How do you go from rehab to hospice? They are 2 MAJOR different things and lets not forget financial. I take care of every medical related bill and I've about cleared out all bank accounts. I understand a doctor shouldn't sugar coat situations but I just feel like she is giving up on her and I don't think a medical professional should. I don't even know what to do at this point. I am so lost and discouraged. My mom calls everyday crying that myself and my father are not helping her and we are trying. We are trying to - at least - get a hospital bed in the home but we don't have money and even though 80% is covered by medicare, it is still very expensive and thats not including the 30+ medical bills I have in front of me as we speak. 

Any advice? Mostly about the doctors.
