Hey everyone,
I've been wandering around the Daily Strength site, looking in different gorups and such, and guess what I've found....
Caregivers, everywhere, seems like every group I looked in this morning has a posting from a caregiver asking for advice or sharing the pain they are feeling caring for people that are member of the community the posting is in. Want to guess what I found then?
ONLY ONE OF THEM WAS A MEMBER OF THE CAREGIVER COMMUNITY.
I'm not really suprised as we all seem to focus a lot on the needs of the ones we are caring for and not enough on ourselves.
We forggt that if we don't hold it togeather, then the ones that need our help and support the most are going to be without.
I challenge all of you to look for your counterparts. They are all over this site and remind them that they are important too.
Remind them to take care of themselves, ask them to join our community!!
I'll bet in doing this for your fellow garegivers, you'll reinforce the message for yourselves!!

Is there a way of posting on the home page where everyone can see it?
