Husband is all anxiety ridden this week, bouncing right and left. They have changed his dialysis time so now he will be going later in the day and we won't get home till 7 pm three nights a week. With the darker days coming, the time change, colder weather, etc. it's upsetting him and as we all know, older people do not like change! This means dinners will be later Apparently, in an attempt to make things run more smoothly at his dialysis center, they have changed the times for most paitents starting next week. Right now they won't accomodate requests for different times, but probably within 2-3 weeks after this gets going they will make some adjustments. Hopefully, things will run smoothly and this adjustment will not be too hard on him. Hubby's emphysema seems to be worse these days, he hates to be too far from his oxygen anymore. A pretty significant change from just 6 months ago. (We see his pulmonologist regularly....it's just the progression of the disease) Just blabbing, nothing major, trying to hang in there and keep my sanity and not have anxiety myself! On a more postive note, I have lost 15 pounds and my goal is to lose 30 more. I am feeling better :) Hope all my fellow caregivers are doing well.
