Jenna, are there any sites here that specifically support for your types of injury and needs. This is a site for carers. Although we have a wealth of knowledge and may be able to help, there may be other sites which have more appropriate advice for you.

Just google wheelchair accessories or table trays for wheelchairs. You'll find a number of sites that will help you.

If you can talk to your hairdresser, ask if they can get you one of the aprons. That should do it.

what a great idea pd2012. never would have thought of a hairdresser's cape. They are easy to put on and to clean. That is why I like DS so. Ideas I can use too.

I haven't come across a disposable apron but I'm sure using a hairdresser apron would be cheaper to use. Just get a few of them so one or two can be washed while still having another available for use.

I know if you go to a beauty supply store, more than likely you'll need a hairdressing license to buy there. You may be able to find them on line but then again, I'm not sure if the site will require your license to purchase.

oh gosh, don't be... geez, I put one on when I'm eating spaghetti or lobster or soup and the list goes on. I don't want my clothes stained. I don't care two cents who sees me or what they say.
