This morning as I was running around doing ALL the things I need to do for my husband, he asked me to sit next to him before he got out of bed. So I sat with him for a few minutes and we talked, and then said I had to go take a shower (we were getting ready to go to his dialysis appointment) and his response was a sarcastic " you ALWAYS need to do SOMETHING!" implying I did not spend enough time with him. I wanted to cold cock him (ok, not really but in my mind......).Seriously, I am sure you caregivers know how much time we spend on the ones we care for, and not much on ourselves. It set my crappy mood for the day. Crappy mood is over because I will be going to my bedroom soon where I can finally rest and be alone. The end!!!!! :)

but maybe because their world is so restricted and so much smaller, that is all they can see...in their own little bubble.
If I can get my husband interested in anything, I don't get half the "poor me...where were you?" stuff.
