reminds me of a short story I heard to back this up:

once a man was stuck in rush hour traffic. when his lane finally started moving ahead, the suv ahead of him did not.
he beeped his horn. nothing.
then he sees a woman get out and open the back side door and is messing around. he beeps again. nothing. he is about to let his rage take over.

then he sees her on the phone. 10 minutes go by he can't move his car.

then he sees an ambulance pull up onto a side street and rush to her suv.

later he learns that she had a child in the back seat that was choking (or something urgent due to a health condition) and they nearly lost the child in route to the hospital.

so now that man thinks of that incident whenever he wants to pounce on someone. you never know!

Hi Michelle, yes we have a member here with a daughter who requires alot of assistance,, She had car trouble in the middle of the road.. it was sweltering hot.. she was trying to get o2 to her child move the heavy w/c get her daughter out.. and you know what happened? people were honking and flipping her the bird to move her car.. I think of that everytime I see a car pulled over.. thanks all for the reminder.. we all need to look before we leap.. Love D
