I do know its so very hard. Hiring help is hard too. But all the caregivers out there needs time. There isn't a good answer - Just difficult positions. I do believe God will reward us. I truly do.

Stress eating-my husband is picky so I cook what he wants and then just eat a quick meal for me, or I eat what I cooked for him, but it is usually a higher fat meal. To make matters worse, he has lost about 40 pounds in the past three months, so needs to eat higher fat, higher calorie meals.
I do go in the bedroom and watch TV while he is in the living room watching TV. But my thoughts are never far from him. I am wondering of he took his pills, drank his nutritional drink, drank his water, etc.
I am always thinking about his appointments it seems. Did I miss anything...etc., etc., etc.
Once in awhile I take off for several hours. Fortunately he can be alone for most of the day most days. But I seldom take time for myself, as I feel bound to him. I could make healthier choices for myself. Guess it is just easier this way.
