Give your self a set amount of time to mope, three days say. Then attack!
1.You could wallow and feel hurt about what has happened to you (lossing your job is a painful experience)get yourself in a rut and be a victim to your old company.
2. You can view this change as a positive step to living a fuller happier life. You say you have a degree in accounting, Is this what you want to pursue?

3. treat yourself to something nice- don't get extravigant- to lift your spirits
4. start the job hunt- suggest looking at online sites with google search:
monster.com, careerbuilder.com, jobs.com, yahoojobs.com are jus a few that i look through.
5. stay positive! you have a degree, which is more than most people can say that that have! i recently read an article in parade magazine that accounting jobs are one of the fields that are expected to GROW... so stay at it!
