Career Changes Support Group
This community is dedicated to the difficult challenges of transitioning from one career or job to a new one. Especially as we grow older, it can be very difficult to acquire the skills and relationships and take the financial risk to make the switch.
My boss hasn't done the following:
1)I worked extra hours in December, was supposed to get a small bonus but it hasn't happened yet
2)I haven't had my annual review meeting but others in my group have
3)Boss repeatedly allows poor performances to go unchecked
4)Boss refuses to replace the dead weight, putting excessive pressure on others to carry more than their fair share to compensate for weaknesses
5)Boss is so wrapped up in meetings and has little to no time for the team
6)Boss seems to be doing everything BUT leading the department lately

There is absolutely nothing you can do without risking losing your job. If you're willing to take the chance(and I wouldn't), you can report this to HR. Otherwise, grin and bear it until you get the opportunity to get something better. Prepare to find the same thing happening at the "something better" because you just described my last three bosses.
