While breastfeeding is recommended by many doctors, it is not as simple as it seems. This is a community dedicated to parents who are choosing to breastfeed, providing a safe place to discuss everything from pumping, to questions of whether baby is getting enough, weaning, breast care, scheduling, supply, and more.
When my younger son was 3 months old I had my mother take pictures of him breastfeeding from a few different angles. My favorite is one shot from over my shoulder. He is looking right at the camera the way he used to gaze into my eyes while feeding. He is 3 years old now, finished with breastfeeding for a year and WOW the time he spent as my nursling totally flew by I miss it sooo much. I am so glad that I have the pictures,
I didnt think to take pictures with my first son and I really regret that.

I never thought of taking pics, my dd is 5 months. I guess better late than never, what a great idea.

I have one on my phone of my son and there is one on my mother in laws camera (hope i get the shot) that I can't wait to get. I miss it :( They're 4 and almost 2. Nursed them both 22 and 21 months. Best thing I ever did.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
