Breastfeeding in public

I have been breastfeeding since my baby been born. Now my child is 1yrs.old and sometime I feel the negative tension society while i breastfeed in public. Now to be honest with you it really doesn't affect me at all,but when someone may make comments.I tend to a little sensitive with my feelings. I am going to continue breastfeeding until my son gets 3 yrs.old. Now to all you supporters out there,do you ever experience something like this?, If so please share stories with me and give your advice.

I only had one bad experience breastfeeding in public when I was asked to stop nursing my 6 month old son at a waterpark - I was COMPLETELY covered and in a private place. I refused to stop and very firmly told the employee (yes, a waterpark employee!) that I would NOT stop and that I had a legal right to breastfeed. I didn't know at that time that I did have a legal right, but it sounded good, lol! I'm going to be honest and tell you that I didn't nurse in public much after my son was a year - he nursed until 30 months. However, the few times I did nurse in public after he was a year, I just tuned the world out and enjoyed my son. When you gaze at your baby, you become oblivious to those around you (I do anyway), unless they actually say something to you, in which case, you could just say you have a legal right to breastfeed - that will usually shut them up. They hate the word breast, lol, and the legal thing is hard to argue with unless they know about breastfeeding laws, which most people don't Just remember you are doing what is best for your child :).

DS is just shy of 1 year and I've had this same worry. I don't bf in public a lot as he is easily distracted. Normally we find an out of the way place but if we are someplace that is quiet and not crowded I try to just bf there.
I haven't actually had anyone comment, but I worry that I'm getting strange looks. I don't really have any advice except that the only way to make people comfortable with nursing in public is to see more babies (of all ages) nursed in public.

Someone will always show intolerance when you breastfeed in public, the only way to deal with it I can think of is to try to attract as little attention as possible. I can totally relate! I get such bad looks in when breastfeeding in public. I get so uncomfortable at times that I got to the restroom to feed my baby. This should not happen! I think places should have a breastfeeding/pumping room for mothers, this would make it a lot easier to nurse in public.

Fortunately in other parts of the world breastfeeding in public is not an issue at all. Nobody feels offended even breastfeeding much older kids.
I breastfeed my kids which are already at school.

    My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper?
