Yea me! My Onco test on the second tumor scored a little lower than the first tumor so I dont need chemo!!! After all I've been thru, I broke down and cried tears of joy! Now I just need this wound to completely heal and I can get my tush back to work. I have to follow up w/ the Oncologist in three months and when I'm completely healed, get my final surgery (remove extra skin left over from the failed reconstruction). I decided to NOT do any more reconstruction and go COMANDO!!! LOL
I realize this cancer crap is a hugh committment and I will always have to keep one eye open at all times... but I'm worth it!!!!

hello every one I had my first round of chemo on the 28th of november,And I an doing ok.Iam on clinical trial and I am also taking Herceptin,I just started to lose my hair and now I am getting ready for my seccond round next friday.After chemo I have to take an injection,I was getting bone pain.Well thankyou every one for keeping me in ur prayers,Merry christmas and a blessed comming new year god bless!!!

Thanks for the cheers & good wishes! Since I cant try implants again (My pec muscle tore open & its too thin to hold an implant) I decided to just leave well enough alone. The surgeon wants to do a Tram flap but after everything I've gone through, I m not a good healer & I cant handle a 13 hour surgery. Not having breasts isnt so terrible, it just takes a few months to adapt! Happy holidays to all my cancer buddies and keep on keeping on!!! :)

River - The day of chemo seems ok. I kind of enjoyed having 4 hours to myself to watch TV, read magazines and relax! I don't want to scare you but no one seems to talk about it - My biggest issue was with bowel movements. If you're not hurting from being constipated, you will hurt because that stuff is so toxic coming out.

LisaW123, ask your oncologist for stool softner, specially if one has piles or hemmorroids. You want to prevent sores. Glad you are doing fine.

That is excellent news! Reading your post was very inspirational! I know that we all have unique stories, and you are all so amazing to me. I guess the one day at a time, one minute at a time is the best route to go....

So true, all the girls on here are awesome and taking one day at a time is exactly what I learned when I realized I had no control over the cancer, just decisions to make.
