had double breast-saving mastectomy 3/29. Due back for outpatient to remove skin and tissue which had traveled farther than the mamogram or sonogram showed.
will need chemo and radiation after my 6 weeks of healing up.
then after which i guess i'll get the ole boob job.
better to go down fighting than just go down!
although im NOT happy about the delay, i'll just have to role with the punches.

Thx for checking in, I understand ur frustration about the delay. I'm supposed to start chemo on Weds....hopefully. My Oncologist wanted me to get my teeth cleaned first, but because I have a blood-clotting disorder I have to take blood thinners because of my port.....the dentist couldn't clean my teeth if I'm taking blood thinners....ugh!

I've had a crazy time the last couple of months. I also had a double masectomy and was going for my first chemo and the nurses walked out that day. My Dr. is now moving to Hawaii so I had to find new docs.

sorry about the delay.
i've been a bit preoccupied.
had the surgery and they think they got it all.
not too bad on the pain side.
will keep you updated.
kinda like the idea of no bra for the summer (live in mississippi)
but then again was hoping to go without a bra with new boobs,lol.
