I took my last of 6 Chemo treatments on Oct. 13th. I still having fatigue, taste issues, bowel problems and some nerve issues in fingers and toes. I'm really happy that I'm done, but trying to be patient with the lingering effects. Also will be starting radiation tomorrow. What's that like?

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? The taste will linger for a bit, ask your oncologist if he can help with bowel problems.

radiation burnt the heck out of me so i was raw like smelling like raw meat and really it was as i had to dress it. Not good a yr and half later i have red viens around my surgery scar where they had burnt it. They took a yr to pop up. this is one thing the radiologist looks for after.
You will have your radiologist and oncologist for five yrs every six months so you will see one or other every three and after five yrs you get each for five more yrs once a yr.
I just asked to rid myself of my radiologist as my oncologist can do a good job of feeling my breasts. I have to many bad memories from that office.
